Bought the highly raved new foundation by Innisfree from Jolse! 2.5 (semi matte, highest coverage, in shade N22).

Its supposedly semi matte but actually it’s quite dewy. As I live in Canada, it’s winter now so I don’t mind. The texture and coverage reminds me of Too Faced’s Born this way foundation. I do have combo-oily skin and i see my oils coming through about 3 hours in. I have to set my face with powder so it stays locked in all day and lasts a good 8 hours for me.

The coverage is about medium to high, easily buildable. I use a beauty blender as it does not accentuate my dry patches. I do not need a concealer, unless I have breakouts.

The shade, N22 is really yellow when first pumped out, but oxides to a peachier shade after a while. I’m about NC20 in MAC, 1W2 Sand in Estee Lauder Double wear. This foundation leaned towards a pinkier/peach side when blended out which is weird considering it has a heavy yellow undertone. I blend the foundation down to my neck and it works out well! If you’re fairer than NC20, I’d suggest you get N21 instead.

I’ll definitely get 1.5 (matte, highest coverage) next, since summer’s coming up and I probably will need my face to stay matte, lol! Probably will need N21 though, because N22 is quite orangey now.

Overall this foundation is great for for its price ❤

Rating: 4/5 (the shades, why!!)
