Skintype: Combination – Oily T-zone, dry cheek area. Sensitive and prone to breakouts.

Toners:

Laneige Cream Skin Refiner: I have gone through a bunch of these, full and mini sized. Amazing product for the dryness around my face, but I put less on my T-zone. Has never caused any kind of irritation. Great for layering other products on as well. No particular scent.

Thayers Witch Hazel: Non-AB but giving it a shoutout 🙂 most used during the summer, and I use it to refresh my makeup as well as a mist. Easy on the skin, no irritation.

COSRX Full Fit Propolis Synergy Toner: A thicker version of a regular toner. I didn’t really see any effect on my skin after using this for a couple of days, apart from being hydrating. No scent.

Serums:

It’s Skin VC Effector Vitamin C: Amazing, amazing product. This serum is extremely underrated. Affordable, and it actually works. I had a bunch of pigmentation and past scarring on my cheeks, this serum hydrates and brightens overall. I use it twice a day, morning and night. So far the results have been outstanding and it’ll be in my repurchase list. Clear, non-greasy, a thicker serum-y texture compared to other Vitamin C serums. Absorbs well. No breakouts. A light citrus scent, nothing too overpowering.

COSRX Advanced 96 Snail Essence: Everyone’s favourite for a reason 😉 It does hydrate and soothe my skin. I had a couple of sunburns and this essence healed it well. Same for cuts and bruises I get around my leg due to clumsiness. No scent.

COSRX AC Collection Blemish Spot Clearing Serum: I stumbled upon this product randomly when I was doing some online shopping. Haven’t seen much reviews on this, may be new to the market? This particular serum helps to soothe my skin, but I don’t see it preventing further breakouts as I still get some using it. It’s an okay product for me. Would love to hear other reviews on this! No scent.

Creams:

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream: I adore this cream during the winter months. I warm it up with my fingers, then pressing it into my face. It does a great job with keeping moisture in, without causing greasiness. Can cause slight breakouts if used too much/heavy handed. A light herbal scent, I can’t really figure out what it is..

A’Pieu Madecassoside Cica Gel: My summer go-to. Very light in consistency, not sticky or greasy at all. Skin is well moisturized without feeling heavy. I love this gel so much, I’ve gotten 2 backups! No scent.

Real Barrier Extreme Cream: Another love for the winter months. It’s slightly thicker than Dr. Jart’s, however it sinks into my skin almost immediately. Not heavy at all, and helped with several dry patches on my face. I layer this a ton when I have eczema outbreaks at well. No breakouts. A very light scent of citrus.

Real Barrier Soothing Gel Cream: I got this cream as a gift. It’s a wonderful product to be used in the summer. I don’t use it on my face as I have a lot to go through, but amazing to soothe after sun skin. Hydrating, non-greasy. No scent.

Physiogel Night Cream: Haven’t seen many reviews on this one as well, not AB but will give it a shoutout. A soothing cream that doesn’t cause stinging or irritation. It’s a little sticky, which gives your skin a nice glow. No scent.

Patches:

COSRX AC Collection Acne Patch: A better, yet pricier version of the original COSRX patches. I use these when going out on my forehead for any breakouts, as they’re way thinner and less visible on skin. It’s still visible under makeup, unfortunately :p

Sun Screen:

Ah. The Anessa Fam. I’m extremely excited to review these for some reason.. Haha!

Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Mild Milk SPF 50++ For Sensitive Skin (Pink Bottle): I was looking for a new sunscreen to use, I stumbled upon this product on my trip to Japan. I finally understood why this was so highly raved. A very smooth consistency. Absorbs into the skin with a light airy finish. No whitecast. No breakouts. No particular scent. Was at the beach for about 6 hours and my skin did not burn. I love this product, so so much. On the pricier side, but yet it’s so worth it in my opinion.

Anessa BB SPF 50+ Shade Natural 25ml: I have not seen many reviews on this, but got one to try in the shade natural (shade comparison: NC30 in MAC). I was extremely surprised by it’s high coverage- don’t be fooled by it’s thin consistency. It covers extremely well, yet very breathable. It has a semi-matte finish with abit of glow. Absolutely beautiful. I found myself grabbing for this instead of my typical concealer-powder products. No scent.

My current favs, and I’m back to blogging! Let me know what you’d like to see next 🙂
