Let’s start the review with: What is Madecassoside?

Madecassoside is an ingredient highly raved in the K-beauty community. Madecassoside is an active skin care ingredient derived from the plant Centella asiatica. It promotes healing, anti-inflammatory and boosts hydration to skin.

I’ve explored A’pieu’s famous Madecassoside line and loved their products, from their toner to gels and creams.

Having sensitive, eczema prone skin has encouraged me to look into skincare ingredients carefully, to avoid any flare-ups or inflammation. The Etude House Madecassoside mask is alcohol-free, with hints of Centella Asiatica Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Coptis Chinensis Root Extract, which are anti-oxidant ingredients to boost your skin’s immunity.

The essence of this mask is on the thicker, milkier side which is amazing for dry skin.

It definitely lives up to it’s name of being a 0.2mm mask. Surprisingly thin, yet fitting and comfortable. The mask has a ton of essence absorbed. There was no stinging sensation or noticeable fragrance to it.

Amazing fit!

Overall, this mask is extremely affordable, travel friendly and provided amazing results. The bumps I had (due to dryness) was immediately soothed and were no longer red. It gave my face an amazing glow and lasting hydration.
